Implementation Group
Richard Reay-Smith DL has become the second Surrey Compact independent Chairman. He has taken up the reigns from Andrew Wates, Chairman of Wates Family Holdings, who retired after four years as Chairman of the Surrey Compact Implementation Group .
The group encourages the adoption and implementation of the Compact across the County. The group leads development work on its codes of practice.
The group meet four times a year as well as two Surrey Champions Networks and an AGM in November.
Members are elected for a period of three years. Elections take place annually in the autumn at the AGM.
