The Surrey Compact
The Surrey Compact is a commitment to continually improve relationships between public organisations, the voluntary and community sector organisations representing service users and carers.

The Surrey Compact is a commitment that sets out principles to help Surrey's public bodies, voluntary and community organisations to work better together.
It will help us to:
- Make sure we are open and respectful in how we work together
- Understand each other better
- Involve the right people
Surrey Compact is one of the local compacts which cover the whole of England and is compatible with the National Compact.

The commitment consists of the Compact Document and a number of Codes of practice. There are a wide range of benefits of becoming a Compact member.
The Surrey Compact employs a Development Director and is overseen by an independent Chairman and elected Implementation Group.
